As of September 2004, there were 274 Learjet 60s in service. The Canadian company introduced the plane, which is the largest in the Learjet lineup, in 1990 to replace the Learjet 55C. In 1998, Bombardier upgraded the interior to include a redesigned beverage cabinet and a TV monitor. The galley is equipped with an oven, beverage dispensers, and an ice compartment. Last year, Bombardier released a special edition of the aircraft, which includes a DVD system, a 10-disc CD changer, and updated avionics.
