XOJet Adds Mobile Communications to Its Charter Fleet

Beginning this month, the Bombardier Challenger 300 and Cessna Citation X jets in the fleet of the San Francisco–based charter provider XOJet is offering passengers the ability to make calls, send text messages, and access information on their smartphones during flights. This new service, from the aviation telecommunications provider Aircell, enables passengers to connect with family, friends, and colleagues from the air and access their smartphone’s contact lists and call history. Calls are priced on a per-minute basis; sending and receiving text messages is complimentary. (www.xojet.com)
