A marble replica of Michelangelo’s Bacchus welcomes guests to the courtyard lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze (+39.055.26.26.1, www.fourseasons.com). Opened last June at the Palazzo della Gherardesca, the Florence hotel features Renaissance-era reproductions and original artworks throughout its public spaces and guest rooms. The 116 rooms—located within the palace and an adjacent convent—include the Della Gherardesca Royal Suite, which contains artifacts collected over five centuries by the namesake family. The grounds also include the 11-acre Giardino della Gherardesca, Florence’s largest private garden and site of the Four Seasons’ spa. The garden is open to hotel guests, who can also stroll outside the gates to the Arno River, Duomo, and Museo del Bargello—home to the original Bacchus. ($660–$19,110)
