Azimut’s New 80-Footer Hits Water

The world’s largest yacht builder launched its newest vessel, the Azimut 80. The 80-foot yacht is the brand’s first vessel over 72 feet to be completely designed at its headquarters in Avigliana, Italy. The semicustom yacht offers four interior-design schemes ranging from classic and sophisticated to contemporary and relaxed. All the layouts accommodate eight guests in three cabins, each with an en suite head, plus a full-beam master suite amidships. A 97-square-foot swimming platform at the stern makes it easy to launch and retrieve tenders, and a 452-square-foot flybridge featuring a full bar and a 42-inch retractable television is ideal for socializing. In the engine room, two 1,550 hp MAN engines power the vessel to a top speed of 30 knots and a range of 350 nautical miles. (www.azimutyachts.com)
