Best Of The Best 2006: Perfect Zen

<< Back to Robb Report, June 2006

While inventing new motor yachts, fulfilling orders for its 80-foot sailing vessels, and creating its forthcoming 148-foot überyacht, Wally produced the 94-foot custom sailboat Open Season. Wally built the vessel for an experienced yachtsman who takes simplicity to Zen-like extremes. The boat is essentially a Mediterranean day sailer with overnight accommodations for her owner, a few guests, and minimal crew. Among other pleasant touches, an aft salon dubbed a “terrace on the sea” allows passengers to remain constantly connected with sun, ocean, and sky, while the center cockpit seats eight for alfresco dining after the sails are furled for the day.
