Vanquish Yachts, a 4-year-old Dutch brand, fully customizes each VQ50, and for hull number 1 it included an unusual feature: a mid-hull tender garage, on the starboard side, with a 4-by-7-foot opening. The garage is equipped with a hydraulic winch to launch and retrieve the yacht owner’s Williams Jet Tenders Turbojet 325. The design works so well that the second example of the VQ50 is being built with the same garage. The first two hulls will have only one cabin, but Vanquish Yachts can replace the tender garage with a second cabin.

  • Powered by twin 600 hp diesels with Zeus pods, the VQ50 reaches a top speed of 38 knots.
  • The yacht can feature a “stair-step” at the stern that folds in when the boat is running.
  • Seating for as many as 10 people is possible on the foredeck, and the aft deck can be furnished with a pair of sun beds.
  • The cockpit has room for a dinette that seats six people.
