The design plans for the Wider 32 (www.wider-yachts.it) show why the Italian company is considered one of the most innovative boat designers. Like the company’s current model, the Wider 42, this forthcoming 32-foot day cruiser will feature a deck that can expand when the boat is at anchor. Aft of the 32’s cockpit, the sides will fold down, creating a more spacious flat and stable surface. The first Wider 32 is scheduled for delivery in 2015. It will serve as the tender for a Wider 150 megayacht that is under construction.
