With Miami’s Island Gardens Deep Harbour marina set to open this December, Florida will claim its spot as the world’s newest superyacht capital. The marina—which is being developed by Flagstone Property Group and built by Technomarine Group—will offer full-service amenities, including in-slip fueling, a marina lounge, and customs and immigration clearance for those traveling from the far corners of the earth. As the only marina in North America designed exclusively for yachts up to 550 feet, Deep Harbour will effortlessly accommodate up to 50 mammoth ships.

Located on Watson Island in Biscayne Bay, the port will be accompanied by two world-class hotels, shops, restaurants, and a water-taxi system—all scheduled to be completed by 2018. The new marina will also serve as the home of the future Superyacht Miami show, which will highlight some of the world’s finest ships. Once finished, the marina and accompanying development will be a must-visit locale for superyacht owners. (islandgardens.com)
