The German shipbuilder Lürssen is readying its latest superyacht, Orchid, for its upcoming sea trials. While much information about the yacht remains under wraps—due to the desire for discretion on behalf of the yacht’s very high-net-worth owner—Lürssen has revealed some details about the exclusive design. Conceived by Reymond Langton Design, the 299-foot boat’s amenities include a bright and airy interior, VIP guest suites with fold-down balconies, and spa and treatment facilities. The global yacht management company Y.Co is working alongside Lürssen to guarantee that the clients’ design specifications are met throughout the build process. The boat is on schedule for delivery to its owner for its maiden voyage this fall. (luerssen-yachts.com)
