The Monaco Yacht Show has been the unofficial launching pad for superyacht concepts for decades. While some designs are conservative, others bold, and yet others closer to the realm of science fiction, many of yachting’s top designers approach the event as a showcase for their finest work—often partnering with shipyards that will gladly build the concept yacht if they find a buyer. This year’s show had the most exciting collection of concept projects in recent memory. Here are five of the best.
