Wally 55

With its triangular hull and sharply angled windshield, the Wally 55 exemplifies Monaco-based Wally’s unconventional approach to yacht and powerboat design. But the 57-footer, which launched in October 2009, also offers something new for a Wally powerboat: a fully open cockpit that affords an unusually expansive above-deck area comparable to an 80-footer. It comprises four distinct sections: the helm, a bow for sunbathing, a U-shaped seating area located midship, and a swim platform aft. The interior of the boat can be configured with either two or three staterooms, while power choices run the gamut from four 435 hp Volvo Penta D6 engines to twin 1360 hp MANs.
