As the senior editor for style, Jill Newman oversees Robb Report’s fine jewelry and style coverage, and occasionally writes about travel and collectibles. Newman also serves as the company’s executive web editor, and is responsible for daily editorial coverage on RobbReport.com. With a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Newman began covering the luxury goods industry in the 1980s as an editor for Women’s Wear Daily and W Magazine. She has written for several consumer magazines, including Departures, Brides, and New York Magazine. She coauthored the book Jewelry and Gems at Auction, the Definitive Buying Guide. She has visited and written about diamond mines throughout Africa and gemstone mines in Brazil, as well as the workshops of world-famous tailors and craftsmen in Italy, and jewelry ateliers in Paris.
