Leica Ultravid 8×32 Edition Zagato Binoculars

  • The Leica Ultravid 8×32 Edition Zagato binoculars.

The Italian coachbuilder and design firm renowned for crafting limited-edition models for automakers ranging from Aston Martin to BMW to Ferrari has lent its sense of style to binoculars. The Leica Ultravid 8×32 Edition Zagato binoculars feature an outer shell made of aluminum, a favorite material for the firm’s lightweight and aerodynamic auto designs. Hundreds of fine grooves have been milled into the surface of the shell, and around each of the front lenses the aluminum has been anodized to form a red ring inscribed with the Zagato brand name. The binoculars are priced at $3,500. (leica-camera.com)
