From January 6 through 9, the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas was the epicenter for the world’s most groundbreaking technology. The four-day “future fest” showcased products running the gamut from have-to-have-it to why-in-the-world. But after separating the wheat from the chaff, it was clear that the most exciting developments to come out of the show—presented by both industry icons and start-ups—were in the realms of virtual reality, entertainment, home automation, and transportation.
