Founded in 2007, Retrosuperfuture—the Italian label responsible for Super sunglasses—crafts colorful, acetate, eclectic eyewear in a variety of bold aesthetics. Following the success of its first brick-and-mortar store in New York, the brand has opened a second U.S. location in Los Angeles. Because of its proximity to downtown L.A. and its reputation as a creative hub, Silver Lake was the natural choice for the innovative brand’s first West Coast boutique.

Designed by the Mexican firm Savvy Studio, the 1,900-square-foot building features concrete floors; exposed ceilings; gray brick walls; and metal, stone, and wood finishes. Opened in July, the store has become the go-to place for Angelenos looking for timeless shades. (retrosuperfuture.com)
