The idea behind London’s Orlebar Brown (orlebarbrown.com) was to offer men swimming trunks that double as shorts for après-swim activities. Today, nine years after the brand’s founding, Orlebar Brown is not only the swimwear of choice for many a well-dressed man, but also a complete resort-style clothing line. This season, the company is expanding its ready-to-wear offerings with a capsule collection made in collaboration with Savile Row tailor Gieves & Hawkes. Inspired by 19th-century maps, the line includes cargo trousers as well as Orlebar Brown’s signature swim trunks and T-shirts—all imprinted with a spirit of adventure.
