The French shoemaker Berluti has debuted the Swing, its first-ever ready-to-wear men’s golf shoe. Priced from $3,430, the footwear is made with a new last (or shoe form) called St. Andrews, named after the golfing town in Scotland, and an upper crafted from resilient kangaroo leather. The Swing shoes are available in two bicolored options—bone and gold or vermilion and indigo—and are finished with a lustrous patina and brogue-style details, including a removable fringed lace cover in Berluti’s trademark mineral-tanned Venezia leather.

The Swing is not the first specialty sport footwear to bear the renowned marque’s name. Since its founding in 1895, Berluti has catered to active clients with bespoke hiking, polo, cycling, skiing, and driving shoes, each with an innovative design to help enhance the wearer’s performance. Thoughtful features of the Swing that are aimed to boost a player’s golf game include comfortable rubber-and-leather inserts, lightweight carbon inserts, and shock-absorbent foam-lined insoles. A special key accompanies each pair that allows the wearer to remove the shoes’ precision-engineered spikes, so that he may seamlessly sport the stylish footwear on and off the fairway.
