BEST of the BEST 2014 | Style | Men’s Fashion | Bomber Jackets: Hermès

Véronique Nichanian, deputy artistic director for menswear at Hermès, sets no limits in creating her designs—an observation that is confirmed by her latest series of bomber jackets. The designer has a gift for taking costly and sometimes cumbersome materials and reimagining them in more wearable, contemporary ways. The reversible Teddy Blouson ($27,400), for example, sports mink shorn so short it feels like velvet on one side; the other side is lambskin. The quilted Chiffon Crocodile jacket ($185,400) appears to be hefty but is actually super lightweight. (800.441.4488, www.hermes.com) Watches by Chopard.
