After honing their skills as apprentices to some of Britain’s best tailors, Thom Whiddett and Luke Sweeney broke out on their own with the Thom Sweeney collection, which launched online earlier this year. The duo’s contemporary silhouettes stand out in the crowded tailored-clothing market, as this three-piece wool suit ($1,945) handsomely illustrates with its slim-waisted jacket featuring natural-looking yet roped shoulders, high armholes, and slim sleeves. A fresh color palette for the collection and subtle, cheeky patterns hint at dandyism without crossing that crucial line.
