Front Runners December 2015: Secret Service

  • Julien de Luca and Marc de Luca have run the Parisian tailoring house Camps de Luca for more than 50 years.

After more than 50 years in business, the Parisian tailoring house Camps de Luca (campsdeluca.com) still keeps a discreet profile. Each patron is measured by either owner Marc de Luca, whose father founded the business, or one of his two sons. It takes about 80 hours for the de Lucas and their company’s master tailors to hand cut and sew a single suit (from about $7,360). “When a suit is cut and sewn right,” notes Julien de Luca (shown with his father), “the man projects a sense of confidence.”
