Twin brothers and frequent travelers Byron and Dexter Peart created the bags-and-accessories brand Want Les Essentiels de la Vie (wantessentiels.com) because of their own preference for unadorned, multipurpose travel bags and accessories. The versatility of the company’s offerings is exemplified by the Peretola bag shown here. The bag takes its name from the airport in Florence, Italy; all of the brand’s travel bags, backpacks, briefcases, computer bags, and leather goods are named for airports. The Peretola is a tote that folds into a clutch and features exterior pockets and a magnetic closure. It is available in leather and canvas ($395), canvas and woven cotton ($395), and all leather ($595).
