The Italian leather-accessories company Bertoni 1949 (bertonivaligeria.it), which began nearly 70 years ago by producing travel trunks, has a new collection of more modern luggage that includes the leather backpack shown here ($2,165). Each bag is made entirely in-house at the company’s studio in Varese, outside Milan. Among Bertoni’s other new creations are the Gulliver Alligator travel bag ($25,420), which features lightweight palladium hardware and a removable shoulder strap, and an eye-catching alligator-leather Biker bag ($11,900), which is decorated with vibrant paintbrush strokes and paint splatters.
