FrontRunners: Look Sharp

<< Back to Robb Report, January 2014

The new Kiton men’s accessories collection (www.kiton.it) reflects the same commitment to craftsmanship as the Italian brand’s tailored clothing does. Diego Dolcini, formerly a designer for Gucci, delved into the Kiton archives to find inspiration for this collection, his first for the brand. For a leather-trimmed weekend bag ($4,223), a wallet ($838), and other pieces, he used canvas bearing a diamond pattern that was reproduced from a 1960s Kiton necktie print. The collection also includes a black-straw fedora ($313), which serves as a smart counterpoint to a pair of woven-canvas loafers trimmed in black leather ($1,683). The pieces are made by hand at Kiton’s workshop in Naples, Italy.
