    After heading the kitchens of several Boston restaurants, most recently the Federalist at the XV Beacon hotel, chef David Daniels has left the mainland for Topper’s, the restaurant at the Wauwinet inn (wauwinet.com) on Nan­tucket. “Topper’s is very similar to the Federalist in terms of quality, but it’s in a different setting that appeals to me,” says Daniels. Federalist fans will recognize the lobster bisque, which, as much as we enjoy the Boston eatery, no doubt tastes better on Nantucket in summertime. . . .

    If you seek a unique scent, consider Feuille Verte, the latest limited-edition fragrance for men from Olivier Creed (creedfragrances.co.uk). It features notes of mandarin, lime, oak moss, Bulgarian rose, and jasmine. Creed will produce only 100 of the 250 ml flacons at $470 each.
