FrontRunners: Uncommon Scents

  • Elizabeth Helman Minchilli

Tuscan Perfumer Lorenzo Villoresi receives patrons by appointment only. From his garret overlooking the cupolas, bell towers, and tiled rooftops of Florence, he crafts some of the most exquisite, personalized scents around. Acting as a sort of confessor, Villoresi will listen to your deepest thoughts, peer into your soul, and create a singular perfume that is yours alone. “Over the course of two or three hours, we talk about scents, certainly, but also of dreams and memories,” says Villoresi (+39.055.234.1187, lvillor@tin.it).

Realizing that not everyone can make the pilgrimage to Florence for a custom scent, Villoresi launched the LV line, which includes ready-made perfumes and eaux de toilette. The LV collection is available in the United States at select shops.
