Jeffrey Rüdes’s Versatile Jacket Is Essential for Spring

  • Designed for casual pairing with denim, the bold new double-breasted, striped peak-lapel jacket from Jeffrey Rüdes ($1,800) is a fresh take on 1960s style.

“I believe in the jacket as the most essential part of a guy’s wardrobe, probably next to his jeans,” says Jeffrey Rüdes (jeffreyrudes.com), who established his eponymous Los Angeles–based fashion brand a year ago. Designed for casual pairing with denim, his bold new double-breasted, striped peak-lapel jacket ($1,800) is a fresh take on 1960s style. “When we look at stripes, especially this piece, they have to be relevant and unexpected,” says Rüdes. The wool-and-ottoman jacket is on offer at the brand’s flagship store in New York City and available for same-day delivery within Manhattan.
