Maybach Puts Its Signature Style on Leather Accessories

Maybach is the latest luxury automobile brand to develop sleek leather accessories that echo the car’s distinctive aesthetic. Its first collection of men’s leather goods, priced from $165 for an iPhone case to $6,100 for a business bag, is made with the same leather used the automobile’s plush interior, and many pieces are trimmed with carbon fiber and other signature elements found in a Maybach. If the familiar leather is not instantly recognizable to Maybach fans, various eyewear pieces and accessories also have the car’s insignia emblazoned on a seven-layer wood-and-varnish emblem. Maybach is also offering a custom-order saddle service, fitted to both the rider and the horse and handcrafted in the company’s German workshop. (www.maybach-luxury.com)
