After more than 165 years on Savile Row, the tailor H. Huntsman & Sons (huntsmansavilerow.com) has debuted its first location outside London. Open since February of last year, the appointment-only store in Manhattan offers made-to-measure and bespoke suits (priced from about $4,500 and $7,500, respectively), as well as topcoats (from about $8,370) and ready-to-wear suits (from about $2,900). Huntsman’s aesthetic—favored over the years by such luminaries as the United Kingdom’s King Edward VIII and the Oscar-winning actor Gregory Peck—includes its proprietary tweed, which lines the walls of the intimate 57th Street salon.
