Packable Fashion

Ideal for frequent travelers, the new Berluti leather jackets and foldable leather bags (berluti.com) are stylish, practical, and versatile. They are made of exceptionally soft, lightweight glove leather that is coated with a natural enzyme to enhance their durability. “Fine leather can be fragile, but with this natural coating the leather is stronger and holds its shape,” says Berluti’s artistic director, Alessandro Sartori. He describes the unlined calfskin jacket shown here as a hybrid design that blends classic tailoring with a relaxed sportswear style. Sartori says the jacket ($5,730) can be worn over a dress shirt and necktie or, for a more casual look, with a T-shirt and jeans. The Origami leather tote bag ($1,590) folds up small enough to fit into a suitcase.
