Say good-bye to the bulky briefcase: Trim, lightweight models are all that’s needed to accommodate today’s ultrathin laptops and compact handheld devices. Men’s luxury brands, in particular, are on the case this spring, delivering options sleek and stylish—and no less equipped than their hefty counterparts to keep things orderly. Among the season’s top models are (from left) the Ermenegildo Zegna Milano Slim briefcase ($1,495, zegna.com), which has an outside zipper pocket for easy access on the go; a Dunhill document case ($1,650, dunhill.com) with a pop of color in light blue or a more subdued look in brown or black; and, for a dash of unexpected shine, a Burberry hand-painted patent-leather model ($2,395, us.burberry.com) available in a range of hues including purple, green, and the blue shown here.
