For the second year in a row, the Taste of St. Barth Gourmet Festival—a three-day food festival that brings together some of the world’s finest chefs—will unfold against the French territory’s scenic landscapes, on November 5 through November 8. This year, seven noteworthy French chefs (Yoann Conte, Laurent Jeannin, Jérôme Nutile, Stéphanie Le Quellec, David Toutain, Alexandre Mazzia, and Emmanuel Renaut) will work alongside local chefs to create gourmet French cuisine in a series of dinners. The four- to eight-course meals, each of which starts at around $84 per person, will be served at local restaurants and, if desired, can be paired with fine wines at an additional cost.

For those wanting to experience the island beyond its cuisine, St. Barth Properties is offering a special Taste of St. Barth villa package. Guests who book a minimum of seven nights over the festival dates will receive welcome Champagne and goodies, as well as access to one of the event dinners. Participating villas include Athena (a seven-bedroom, multilevel glass-enclosed enclave overlooking the Caribbean Sea), Gem-Palm Springs (a swanky four-bedroom dwelling with a master suite that features an underwater view of the infinity pool), Oasis de Salines (a six-bedroom villa with two heated pools and direct access to the picturesque Saline Beach), and Le Manoir de Lurin (a plantation-style, five-bedroom estate with a sweeping backyard). Prices for the villas start at $15,070 per week when reserving one bedroom. (stbarth.com)
