This summer, Hotel Arts Barcelona will celebrate its 20th anniversary with an ambitious tapas feast prepared by 22 of Spain’s most acclaimed chefs, who have earned at their respective restaurants a combined 52 Michelin stars. The high-rising waterfront hotel will present the gala event Estrellas Solidarias (which translates loosely to “Night of the Stars”) in collaboration with UNICEF on Thursday, June 12.
A drinks reception featuring cava and Catalan wines will kick off the evening, with chef’s whites autographed by all of the Estrellas Solidarias chefs being auctioned off. Guests will then walk from station to station tasting each chef’s signature tapas dish, which will include escabèche-marinated foie gras by the two-star chef Albert Adrià and a vegetable gnocchi with langoustine in an “American sauce” by Hotel Arts Barcelona’s own five-star chef Paco Pérez.
An Exclusive Experience package (priced at about $27,400 per suite) includes a stay in the hotel’s Royale or Presidential Suites on the 42nd floor, tickets to the UNICEF gala event, and behind-the-scenes access to meet the chefs as they prepare their dishes. The Exclusive Experience will also grant guests preferred reservation and VIP access to Pérez and Adrià’s restaurants for one year. All proceeds from Estrellas Solidarias will go to UNICEF Spain.
