Indian Tabac 1992 and 1990 vintage

If you enjoy mild- or medium-bodied cigars, you likely will welcome the two new offerings from Indian Tabac. The 1992 Vintage, a 10-year-old Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper with a binder and filler of 5-year-old Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos, is a pleasant, tasty blend suitable for all but the most celebratory occasions. Three sizes are available; we prefer the Churchill (7 x 48) for its extended smoking time. The 1990 Vintage features the same filler and binder, but a 12-year-old Honduran broadleaf wrapper provides a milder flavor. Our one complaint is that the bands on both lines of box-pressed cigars are identical in color and size. The only discernible difference between the two is the vintage date. ($7.50)
