Tasting Notes Long years in charred oak barrels have resulted in gentle honey, citrus, cedar, and spices, with a silken, sophisticated finish that is almost Cognac-like in texture. Worth Knowing Originally discovered as part of 81 unrecorded barrels of rye found hidden in the old Buffalo Trace Distillery (the former O.F.C. Distillery that dates from the 19th century) in 1997, this is now an award-winning spirit favored by master mixologists for Manhattans as well as serving in a snifter. Not to be confused with Sazerac’s Six Year Old rye, the much richer 18 Year Old is part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. Note Prices are average retail and do not reflect local or state taxes.
