Louis Roederer 1999 Cristal Rosé Champagne

Tasting notes: Mingled notes of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry with remarkable length and finesse. Worth knowing: This is the rarest wine made at Roederer, crafted exclusively from pinot noir sourced from Cumières (as well as 30 percent chardonnay) and only in select vintages. Roederer is one of the few houses to use skin maceration to make its rosé Champagnes, as opposed to the less labor-intensive method of adding finished red wine to the base wines.
