A7 Illusion Reference Loudspeaker

Snell Acoustics has been a leading loudspeaker manufacturer for over 30 years. When Joseph D’Appolito began engineering speakers for the company in 2003, the possibilities became limitless. Take Snell’s A7 Illusion Reference loudspeaker, for example: It uses a driver arrangement—known as the D’Appolito array—that places a lone tweeter between two midrange transducers for a flawless crossover from mid- to high-frequency responses. Dual 10-inch woofers provide clean, full-bodied bass, making the A7 arguably the best loudspeaker ever to come out of the company’s Massachusetts factory.
