WHAT: D.R.E.a.M.S. (Diabetes Research, Elegance, and Modern Sophistication) in the City is an evening of live music and dancing, with live and silent auctions. Proceeds are used by Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) scientists to pursue innovative ideas such as the DRI BioHub, a bioengineered “mini organ” that mimics the pancreas, which brings the promise of natural insulin production and normal blood-sugar levels one step closer to reality.
