Bringing the Heat

Fendi has teamed up with the Argentine real estate developer Château Group to build an oceanfront condominium property in Miami—the first branded residential building for the Italian luxury house. Scheduled for completion in June 2016, the 12-story Fendi Château Residences will feature 58 oceanfront apartments and penthouses, ranging in size from 3,300 square feet to more than 7,000 square feet with two- to five-bedroom options, priced from $5 million to $25 million.

Working in collaboration with the Miami-based interior design firm Fanny Haim & Associates, Fendi will outfit the interiors with modish designs that reflect the brand’s aesthetic, featuring contemporary Fendi Casa sofas, rugs, lighting fixtures, and other furnishings. All residences have double exposures—facing east and west—with views of the ocean, city skyline, and Intracoastal. Each will have streaked wood and smoky glass detailing, while Italian Calacatta and Botticino marble floors will take center stage in the bathrooms. Kitchens will feature Fendi Casa cabinets and Gaggenau appliances, and each residence also will include an outdoor kitchen on a waterfront balcony. Glass railings bordering the terraces will ensure uninterrupted views of the beach.

The Fendi design aesthetic will carry through to the property’s shared spaces, including the lavish lobby, which will feature 20-foot ceilings and some of the fashion house’s favored materials like fine leather, fur, and silk. Outside, two swimming pools, two pond-like decorative pools, poolside cabanas, and a Jacuzzi are accessible to all homeowners. (www.fendichateauresidences.com)
