City Style: Mira Moon

<< Back to Home & Style, May 2014

Created by the London-based yoo Studio and the Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, this 91-room hotel draws its inspiration from a Chinese fairy tale. Mira Moon tells its own story through myriad details, including tiny silhouettes of rabbits in corridors, ornately carved wood paneling on walls, and sheer curtains in the guestrooms that cast a tint on the skyscrapers outside. The interiors are contemporary and sharp, with overscale peonies depicted on the walls and a black, red, and white color palette throughout. +852.2643.8888, www.miramoonhotel.com
