Design Seen: Agape

<< Back to Home & Style, May 2014

The sleek, sculptural Spoon tub by the designer Giampaolo Benedini was a sensation when Agape unveiled it in 1998, and the company has wowed with its bath creations ever since. (In 2010, Agape received Robb Report’s Best of the Best honor for its Memory line.) Now the Italian manufacturer is captivating the design faithful with DR (shown), which debuted earlier this year at the IMM Cologne furniture fair. Its curved shape is the work of Brazil’s Marcio Kogan and Mariana Ruzante, who envisioned DR as a tub for two. +39.0376.250311, www.agapedesign.it
