FrontRunners: Century Marque

<< Back to Robb Report, April 2013

Among the collections licensed by Aston Martin to mark the start of the British automaker’s second century this year is the Grant Macdonald Silver by Aston Martin collection (www.grantmacdonald.com), a line of home accessories by the London-based silversmith. The marque’s sports cars influenced the designs of some pieces, such as the paper knife, whose handle has a lattice design that evokes the DB9’s grille. The accessories, which range in price from $148 to $77,000, also include flatware, Champagne flutes, drinking glasses, decanters and decanter stands, and, of course, cocktail shakers for making martinis the proper way.
