George Smith Takes It Outside

George Smith, the English furniture company named for one of the United Kingdom’s most celebrated Regency-period furniture makers, has unveiled its first outdoor collection. Utilizing special treatments on variously stained woods and nail-head trim made from galvanized materials, the firm has reproduced some of its favorite classic pieces, such as the Early Victorian Chesterfield sofa and the Soho Buttoned Drum coffee table. The line takes indoor living-room styles al fresco. Fabrics, finishes, and sizes are all customizable; pieces run from approximately $2,000 to $20,000. (www.georgesmith.com)
