Set within the seaside suburb of Llandudno, a short drive from the shops and restaurants of upscale Camps Bay, this sprawling villa sits on a secluded cliff next to the Sandy Bay Nature Reserve. Therese Botha, owner of Icon Villas, which rents the home, calls it her most “democratic” property for its six identical master suites, each of which has its own private ocean-view deck, king-size bed, and deep-soaking bathtub. Ideal for families or large groups, the modern residence features dining spaces indoors and out, a heated swimming pool, a game room, a steam room, and a home gym. The sleek and streamlined interiors provide a suitable backdrop for the property’s collection of original artworks, including paintings by the South African artist Simon Stone and a custom installation by the home’s architect, Johann Slee. A chef, a butler, 24-hour security detail, and a concierge are among the villa’s dedicated staff.

Rates: $4,000 to $6,750 nightly, including most meals (three-night minimum). Contact: Icon Villas, +27.21.424.0905, www.iconvillas.com
