Sous la Lune ("Under the Moon") is the aptly named line of wares for dinner tables and desks that L’Objet (855.562.5388, www.l-objet.com) has introduced as part of its 10th-anniversary collection this year. "The new lapis pieces are meant to evoke the Mediterranean’s stunning deep azure skies—covered in stars and lit by the moon," says L’Objet’s founder and creative director, Elad Yifrach. Among the items are small dishes, canapé and dessert plates, cups and saucers, platters, desk accessories, and a vase; prices range from $35 to $550 per piece. Their saturated hue comes from the many layers of blue and black glazes applied to the Limoges porcelain, which is accented with 24-karat gold.
