Haute Design: Soie Dior

The imaginative Victoire de Castellane, creative director of Christian Dior’s fine-jewelry division, has captured the twirling movement of silk ribbons in this aptly named series of gold-and-diamond designs. (Emeralds, sapphires, and rubies also appear in the collection.) Each piece is a remarkable engineering feat, as illustrated by the sinuous curves and pleats of this elaborate bracelet. (dior.com)
