FrontRunners: Jewel Box

The jewelry and watches in the new Louis Vuitton Emprise Collection (www.louisvuitton.com) feature streamlined rectangular shapes that recall the art deco era and gold trim with tiny nailheads that evokes the company’s origins as a trunk maker. Priced from $1,000, the jewelry pieces—rings, earrings, and pendant necklaces—are set with soft-colored stones: amethysts, morganites, or yellow quartz. Some pieces, such as the pendant shown here, are adorned with delicate chain tassels sprinkled with diamonds. The Emprise Collection is scheduled to arrive in a limited number of Louis Vuitton stores in May.
