FrontRunners: Top-Notch Trimmings

<< Back to Robb Report, December 2003

What would the holidays be without a little sparkle? Prepare to be dazzled by the new limited edition precious ornament collection from Beverly Hills jewelry design house Edwards & Rellas (310.475.9979, www.edwardsandrellas.com). While the snowflake, icicle, glass ball, and teddy bear motifs may be time-honored classics, with prices ranging from $1,600 to $5,400, these are hardly your average collectible ornaments. For example, the 18-karat white gold and platinum snowflake (limited to 250 pieces) has 70 points of F-color VS-clarity pavé and bezel set diamonds. And if that is not enough, you can top off your tannenbaum with a one-of-a-kind custom tree topper (prices starting at $50,000). With a tree adorned in such extravagant jewels, the gifts underneath it will have a tough act to follow.
