Every July, Paris is aglow with elaborate haute joaillerie presentations. Timed to coincide with the haute couture fashion shows, these unveilings by elite international jewelers reveal for the brands’ VIP clients and members of the international press some of the year’s most imaginative and lavish designs. Each piece that appeared in this summer’s event, known by industry insiders as Haute Joaillerie Week, is an exceptional creation. Among these show-stopping designs are the following standouts, whose inspirations—from the deep blue sea to the culturally rich regions of northern India—are as vibrant as the pieces themselves.
