80 Acres, a handcrafted, organic olive oil-based body care line produced by McEvoy Ranch, is pleased to introduce its newest scent, “Bohemian Rose.” Inspired by the fragrant array of flowers in the McEvoy Ranch gardens and in tribute to beloved founder Nan McEvoy, Bohemian Rose celebrates Nan’s joie-de-vivre and love for natural beauty with a modern, sophisticated take on a nostalgic bouquet. Bohemian Rose is now available online at www.McEvoyRanch.com and makes a wonderful gift for Mother’s Day!
“We are thrilled to be able to create this alluring floral blend, derived exclusively from natural botanicals, in collaboration with a perfumer from Givaudan, one of the world’s oldest and best known fragrance houses. Our new Bohemian Rose captures the very essence of McEvoy Ranch gardens in full bloom,” said Christina Cavallaro, co-creator of the 80 Acres body care line. “Bohemian Rose is an updated twist on the traditional rose scent, with a captivating and unconventional mix of florals and spices. Like the entire 80 Acres line, it is made in small batches locally in Northern California.”
The Bohemian Rose body care line is reflective of McEvoy Ranch, a sustainably-farmed 550-acre property in the beautiful rolling hills of Marin County, California, that is one of the country’s largest producers of certified organic, estate-produced olive oil. The 80 Acres body care line takes its name from the 80 acres of Tuscan olive trees that flourish on the ranch. The new Bohemian Rose scent captures the gorgeous expanse of flowers that graces the ranch and, in particular, the rose gardens that Nan loved. The feminine scent of rose absolute is balanced with the sweet nectar of orange blossom, crisp, herbaceous hints of geranium essential oil, and the seductive qualities of ylang-ylang essential oil. Pink pepper is a nod to the elegant evergreens found on the ranch, providing an unexpected, peppery note that balances the sweetness of the florals and contributes to the complexity of the blend.
