Enjoy the Olive Harvest at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum

Hong Kong, September 9, 2015 — Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum is inviting guests to take part in an authentic olive harvest and then enjoy the fruits of their labour this November and December. Guests will spend much of the two-day Olive Harvest trip on the scenic slopes surrounding the hotel where beautiful olive groves and pine forests grow.

This exclusive experience begins with guests enjoying breakfast in the comfortable open-kitchen Sofra Restaurant or, if they prefer, their luxurious accommodation, which has stunning vistas of the Aegean Sea. Afterwards, they head off to Hatice Teyze’s olive oil production facility in Milas to personally handpick olives from the 1500 olive trees that surround Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum.

Cold Pressed, Early Harvest and Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils are produced at the Milas facility, where guests can watch their hand picked olives being turned into olive oil, and then afterwards taste the exquisite flavors that result from this process. Leaving the facility with a gift of olive oil, guests return to the hotel to find another surprise, delicious dishes made with olive oil prepared for them by Sofra Restaurant chefs. A cookbook featuring recipes for these dishes is also presented to guests.

Prices for the Olive Harvest offer start from EUR 605. The offer is valid for all November and December. To find out more, please visit the resort’s website Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum or call +90 252 311 1888.
